Die Casting Process Flow

The high pressure die casting process is to use high pressure to push the metal fluid into a precise metal mould cavity, and then metal is cooled and solidified to form castings. Cold chamber die casting and hot chamber die casting are two basic methods of die casting.

In the cold chamber die casting process, the metal liquid is poured into the pressure chamber by manual or an automatic casting device and then is pushed forward by the injection punch to enter the metal hydraulic into the cavity.

In the hot chamber die casting process, the pressure chamber is perpendicular to the crucible, and the metal liquid enters the pressure chamber automatically through the feed inlet of the pressure chamber. Press the plunger down to move the metal fluid through the goose neck into the cavity. After solidification of the metal liquid, the diecast mould is opened, and the casting is taken out and one die casting cycle is completed.

The die-casting is of high efficiency, and the diecast have complex shapes, precise sizes, clear outlines, high surface quality and strength, and high hardness. Die casting is widely used and it develops relatively faster. At present, the output of aluminum alloy die casting is more than that of zinc alloy die casting.
