Deburring is always the biggest headache. Here we make a simple introduction of several common methods for deburringdiecast parts.

 

1. Manual deburring.

This is also commonly used in general enterprises, using file, sandpaper, grinding first class as auxiliary tools. The file has a manual file and pneumatic dislocation.

Brief comments: The labor cost is expensive, the efficiency is not very high, and it is difficult to remove the complex cross hole. The technical requirements for workers are not very high, suitable for small burrs and simple product structure.

 

2. Grinding to deburr.

This kind of deburring includes vibration, sand blasting, roller and so on. This is most commonly used by die casting manufacturers.

Brief comments: There is a problem that removal is not very clean and may require subsequent manual processing of residual burrs or other ways to deburr. Suitable for large batch of small diecast products.

 

3. Punching to deburr. 

Stamp die and puncher are used together to remove the burrs.

Brief comments: There is a need for a certain die (rough die + die stamping) production cost, and may also need to make plastic mold. Suitable for the simple die casting product, efficiency and deburring effect is better than artificial.

 

4. Freezing to deburr.

The burr is rapidly embrittled by cooling, and then projectiles are sprayed to remove the burrs.

Brief comments: The equipment costs around 300 thousand RMB. It is suitable for products with smaller burr wall thickness and smaller casting products.

 

5. Thermal blasting to deburr.

Also called heat deburring, explosion deburring. By passing some of the easy gases into a furnace, and then passing through some medium and conditions, the gas explodes in a moment, using the energy produced by the explosion to dissolve the burr.

Brief comments: Expensive equipment (millions of price), high operating requirements, low efficiency, side effects (rust, deformation). It is mainly used in some high precision die casting parts, such as automotive aerospace and other precision parts.
