Sometimes, it will occur the sticking of mould and material during high pressure die casting process. So how to avoid sticking of mould and material has become a question for many people.
Here are some suggestions to solve or avoid the sticking of mould and material.
1. Check mold temperature. Reduce the die casting temperature of liquid alloy and also the temperature of the casting mold in some properly.
2. Check the mold discharging agent. Make sure a normal proportioning and try to change new mold discharging agent, adjust its spraying position and volume.
3. Polish the die casting mould surface. For the azotizing molds, careful polishing is needed to avoid damage of nitration case outside the molds. Once the nitration case is destroyed, this sticking phenomenon will be much worse.
4. Improve the design structure of feed system. Try to avoid the liquid alloy wash against cavity wall or the core.
5. Modify cooling system, adjust technological parameters, slow down injection speed, and shorten two-speed stroke.
6. Cut several grooves in moving die with depth of 0.2-0.3mm to increase more compaction force of moving die from side directions.
