Die casting is a precise casting process which uses high pressure to force the molten metal into a complicated metal mould. The control of surface temperature during die-casting is very important for the production of high quality die castings.  Uneven or improper die-cast mold temperatures during production may also result in the castings being unstable in size, forcing the castings to deform, resulting in defects such as thermal pressure, adhesive dies, surface depressions, internal shrinkage porosity, and thermal blister. When there is big temperature difference, the variables in the production cycle, such as filling time, cooling time and spraying time will be affected in different degrees.
