Thousands of Die Casting Insert Pins Waiting for Machining

At the end of January this year, Sieg-Huao had received new repeat orders of die casting insert pins from long-term French client who is specializing in hot forgings, cold forgings steel, investment castings, aluminum castings and aluminum forgings. As agreement this batch of products will be delivered by sea in middle April.

In middle March, several tons of aluminum ingot are purchased from our stable material supplier. Every batch of material is certified with component detection report to make sure the quality of aluminum die casting parts meets the related standards. The commonly used aluminum alloy is ADC12.

In later March, more than 50 thousand of insert pins were die casted by 200 tons die casting machine. The tooling has twelve cavities which keeps high production efficiency. From the picture you can see the tree-like unit which just came from the production line.

The first step is cutting the raw part one by one from the tree.

Secondly, we need to remove the fins, burrs and polish the surface.

Thirdly, each die casting part is to be shot blasted. Cleaning is the last process to get beautiful and aluminum die casting bright pins.

These aluminum diecast insert pins are to be delivered to France and accept secondary fine machining. They are finally to be installed into a knife handle as a finished item sold in supermarkets. Every two month we will deliver 50,000 pcs to France to keep their safe stock.
