Three Elements of Pressure Die Casting

Die casting mould, die casting machine and die casting process, the three key elements of pressure die casting are the important elements which keep the quality of castings, improve the die casting production efficiency and reduce die casting cost. 

As the most important tool in pressure die casting, die-casting mould is the most critical element of the three elements. Once equipped with reasonable casting system, mould structure and manufacturing accuracy, there is important conditions of pressure die casting. It can make up for some shortcomings of the die-casting machine, and can relax the adjustment range of the die casting process parameters, which can bring great convenience to diecast production, and the adjustment of die casting process parameters is much more convenient, which increases the reliability of die casting quality. In general, die casting mould is the most important one among the three elements.

As an important equipment, die casting machine determines successful diecast results. The mould is to be installed on it and the process parameters are to be adjusted here. The performance of die casting machine directly affects the quality and efficiency of the die casting parts.

The die casting process parameters are actually the ties that connect the die casting mould and die casting machine. If there is a good die-casting machine with good quality and good performance, the adjustment range of die casting process parameters will be relaxed, and the adjustment of process parameters will be convenient. If one of the above-mentioned conditions is poor, the adjustment of process parameters is more difficult, even if the adjustment is good, once a certain technological factor changes, it will directly affect the production quality and production efficiency of the die casting parts, resulting in unstable production quality. So the die casting process parameters must make up for the deficiency of the previous two elements.

The above-mentioned three elements must be closely coordinated, so as to improve the quality of die casting process, and bring the overall benefit to die casting.
