1.The corrosion resistance of zinc alloy die casting is poor.

The solubility of lead, tin and cadmium in the zinc alloy is very small, so it concentrates on the grain boundary and becomes the cathode, and the solid solution of the rich aluminum becomes the anode, and in the presence of water vapor (electrolyte), the electrochemical corrosion of the crystal is promoted. Zinc alloy die casting part is aged due to intergranular corrosion.
2.The aging effect of zinc alloy die casting parts.
The organization of the zinc alloy is mainly composed of zinc-rich solid solution containing Al and Cu and rich Al solid solution containing zinc, whose solubility decreases with decreasing temperature. However, due to the extremely fast solidification speed of zinc die casting parts, the solubility of the solid solution is greatly saturated at room temperature. After a certain period of time, this kind of oversaturation will be gradually relieved, and the shape and size of the zinc alloy die casting are slightly changed.
3.Zinc alloy die casting parts should not be used in the working environment of high temperature and low temperature (below 0 ℃).
Zinc alloy die casting has good mechanical properties at room temperature. However, both tensile strength and low temperature impact performance are significantly reduced under high temperature.
